Hello everyone!
As you are all aware, or should be by now, Pop-Up Dinners are back! Our first one is next week on Tuesday June 20th. There are still a few open slots for that dinner so please sign up while you still can, and if you’re looking to join more before they close up go here to check them out.
Secondly, thank you all who attended the conversation on gun violence awareness last week, you’ll hear more on what we will be doing at Trinity regarding that issue in the coming weeks.
Now, time for something fun. We have been working on a little summer project we’re asking you to participate in. We are introducing our version of FLAT JESUS! Flat Jesus is a cut out on a popsicle stick we’re asking members and non-members to take with them as they travel throughout these next few months. The idea is to take a picture with or of him, use the hashtag #flatjesus and tag our Instagram account @TrinityToledo419 and post the picture. It’s a fun and easy way to stay connected over these past few months, and at the end of the season we’ll compile all of them for a special time. Flat Jesus will be available in the sanctuary this Sunday so come early and grab one!
Finally, let’s talk about Pride. The Pride committee had a great meeting this week and all is looking well. We will be asking for donations of hard candy very soon, and hope to have our Trinity 2023 Pride shirt available next weekend for ordering.
