Hello my fellow members of Trinity!

Just a few housekeeping items this week, and an experience that has been sitting in my brain.

First- this Sunday there is an Interfaith Passover Seder at Temple Shomer Emunium in Sylvania from 4-6pm. Registration is required, RSVP’s must be made by 3/24. Email Sherry to RSVP. I cannot recommend this enough, I’m planning on attending, and hope to see you all there.

Second- our last (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT) Lent Lean-In conversation is happening this Sunday after service in My Brothers Place. These have been great times of conversation, dreaming, and scheming and have given me so much life. I look forward to this last one, and hope you can join us. Will there be food? Yes. Will you be missed if you’re not there? Also yes.

Finally, this week at the midweek prayer service Lisa has been giving us cards from Sanctified Art where we’ve been meditating on the question. Mine was “how do you describe God?” I laughed when I read this because it feels like I’ve spent my entire adult life trying to answer this question. It is one that always changes whether they are kind words or expletives. But in the deep still calmness as I was meditating one word stood out I was not expecting. Fragile. My first thought was of course, “Frag-e-lay. Must be Italian” from the movie A Christmas Story, but as I started meditating it made me more, and more uncomfortable and I am still not sure why. I look forward to updating you all on this, but would love to hear your thoughts as well. Email me if you have any thoughts.

Hope you all have a great week.

Grace and peace,
George Benson (he/him)
