At the beginning of February Trinity put out a call for 200 pairs of socks. As our Mobile Food pantry continues to grow, we are also seeking new ways to offer care, dignity and a symbol of God’s love to each guest. And what a response! Before this month was out we had collected nearly 400 pairs of new socks of all varieties- thank you!
Our intention is make these socks available each time we open the doors for the Mobile Food Pantry, as well as donate some to a local drug and alcohol treatment center which will make them available to their clients. Thank you again for this small and beautiful gesture expressing who and how we are called to be as agents of God’s liberating, life-giving expression of love in the world!
